Being arrogant is a disease of the heart. In Islam, it is prohibited to think that you are better than anyone. We are all created as equals. Surely Allah (God) is the ultimate judge and He is 聽fair in His judgement. Be careful of laughing at others, for perhaps Allah (God) might forgive 聽their 聽ignorance and not your arrogance.
"And walk not on the earth with conceit and arrogance."- (Quran 17:37)聽
"And turn not your face away from men with pride." - (Quran 31:18)
"And be moderate (or show no arrogance) in your walking, and lower your voice." -(Quran 31:19)
