Hello everyone, I am pleased to participate today in the contest that @ starstrings01 proposes to us in the Cross-culture community (# hive-181017). I would like to invite my dear @albaandreina to participate in this wonderful Contest
The ecclesiastical wedding is a serious matter, it is for life, so that decision must be made with the five senses.
I got married on January 19, 2008, as is customary, the groom waits for the bride at church, most of the time we are late, but it is that between so much organization, makeup, hairstyles, pedicures and manicures, time passes, and when we find out, and we leave in a hurry haha.
I went out in the car of a cousin who was red as the decoration of the church and my invitation cards.
I arrived and everyone with a relieved face, the groom would not standstill. It was celebrated by a cousin of his (Josbel), it was very beautiful, my uncles/groomsmen at the baptism, they were also groomsmen at the wedding.
It is assumed that a day before and the same day we could not see each other until we met at church.
In my culture, marrying in the church is an important sacrament and a promise that must be made for life, if the promise is broken, you are left living in sin if you start living with someone else.
On that day the spouses are given the ministry of the family, being part of God's creation bringing life to the world.
Receiving that blessing, being part of the Lord's supper, eating the bread and the wine, is the most beautiful thing.
Then the joy follows when the father says: "You can kiss the Bride." The kiss that seals the commitment made in front of God and men.
The toast was in the same church, something curious is that when they got to the table, they had hit my cake with a bite! Until today, I don't know who it was or what happened.
From there we returned to my parents' house, where the celebration continued, and the groom with his teeth removed the garter belt and threw it among the singles, whoever catches the garter must put it on the girl who caught the bouquet of flowers.
Then it is customary for the bride and groom to escape to the honeymoon, so that night we went to a hotel and the next day to the beach.
How nice it is to remember, they are stories that are part of our history, the history of our children, I don't have many photographs, at that time I didn't have a good cell phone.
