Palmachim Beach, an hidden pearl, one of the less touristic and more "locally known" beaches in Israel.
This beach doesn't have many facilities besides parking, one kiosk with restrooms and a lifeguard (in the northern part of it), But what it does have - is a beautiful wild nature with dunes, clean sand, crystal clear water and a stunning variety of plants and animals, low ancient cliffs to the south and a scenic view of Tel Aviv in the north.
#Palmachim beach isn't the largest beach, yet, it won't be hard for you to find a private spot to hang out and relax in this peaceful piece of heaven. On saturdays, it might get a bit more crowded, but otherwise, it's almost like having a private beach. Great for picnics, hangouts, camping, beach sports, hiking, fishing, surfing.. this place is a real treasure we love coming back to and the sunsets here are golden!
Located in central Israel, this place is close to many other attractions and a perfect idea for a day/half-day chilly hang out. On the way to beach you could find (depending on the day of the week, on weekends there are more options) some food trucks usually offering muhallebi, jahnun& lemonade.
If you're around central Israel, you could search for "Palmachim Beach" in waze or use this google maps link to navigate here quite easily.
