There are many things in the war remnants museum building, in fact I think it would take a very long time to study them. To visit and you can read everything here takes 2 to 3 days, and it is very full of lots of information and notes. Let me tell you about the contents of the War Remnants Museum.
There are several floors, I don't remember exactly how many floors there are here, but the building is very spacious and I didn't expect it to be very big. This even exceeded my imagination, a museum that reminds us of a major event for the civilization of the Vietnamese nation. There are a lot of notes, relics and footage that they saved and made into one physical folder.
If we open the laptop and look at the contents of the laptop in the form of images and files, that's the War Remnant Museum which stores artifacts from events in the past and the dark side of this country. there are lots of photos and items displayed very neatly, kept in very good shape and well maintained.
On the first (ground) floor there are several rooms that are divided and separated from each other, apparently separated to discuss something in detail and completely. Here I see photos and fabrications of war debris at that time, reflected as real and it makes us a little touched by the war. It is as if we are experiencing what happened which is very heart-wrenching.
There are various photos ranging from children who lived in the camp and also elderly people who were old during the war. Here the photo is made to be very touching and have a real impression. One of the things that tormented me the most was a photo of two girls hiding behind their camp made of earth and wood, still able to smile amidst the harshness of the world.
Likewise with footage of a photo which turned out to be from Indonesia, which supported Vietnam's liberation at that time, from a black and white photo. There were many people who were seen marching with various writings supporting Vietnam to become a country free from colonialism at that time.
Not only support from Indonesia, there are many countries that participate and make many decisions that help from a material and non-material perspective. They showed it and didn't forget about it so it's still on display in this war remnants museum.
Several other relics such as heart-wrenching photos of war victims, then several war weapons used by the US and Vietnam which they kept in this building, were even put in a glass cupboard and illuminated with bright lights.
Here we can see what the situation was like at that time, complete with knowing the weapons used, bombs and vehicles such as trucks, tanks, fighter planes and helicopters used.
Even though all of these artifacts come from the past and have been in the war remnants museum for decades, they are all well looked after. There are so many people coming here and it feels very crowded, but this is all done by many people (especially tourists) to learn and understand what happened at that time.
Apart from that, there is also a souvenir shop where you can shop for some interesting things related to Vietnam. There is even a typical Vietnamese hat made from the famous woven bamboo, which says 'Vietnam'.
I hope you can come to this place soon, so that there are many things you can get. Even though I was only here for 2 hours, it was enough to make me satisfied with the knowledge I gained and interesting stories that I can tell my children in the future.
