They were actually only doing take-out and delivery at the time (they serve food) and we had a few weeks last month where the restaurant's dining rooms were open with limited capacity. Now we are pretty

That's definitely something that could be done. I wonder how much it would cost to machine one and how many time a year it would be used ;)

The tools have to be as sharp as possible. With a dull tool, you will just bash against the ice instead of shaving it, increasing the odds of breaking it.

I made about a dozen, maybe 15. There were 8-10 sculptors on the project.

Hey salut! C'est bien ma sculpture que j'ai fait à Prévost l'an dernier. J'espère voir le festival revenir après la pandémie!

Sorry to hear about this! I hope for the best for your family. Take care.

I'm home and safe with the family. I hope you are too! I haven't been able to upload images since I transitioned to Hive (over a week now I guess).

Not as much as I wouldve liked, but thanks!

Sorry you couldnt make it to Weston. I hope everything turned out alright for you!

Great concept! I bet it would look even better with better sand, maybe making it more into a vertical pillar?

I did use a piece of PVC tube. You don't want something that has a bottom to make a form so it doesn't stick in.

Thanks for the comment. This is a 4 days contest. The first is spend shoveling and compacting sand and the other 3 sculpting 8 to 5. Yes, this is a solo competition and I'm all by myself.

Nice job with the flexy! Wish I was there with you guys! Cya!

Cue the trash metal playlist!
