Charms, Amulets, and Talismans each have their own unique purpose: a charm is worn to bring good luck, an amulet provides protection, and a talisman is used to attract a specific benefit or power.
But the one thing they do have in common is that they all like to drink together in bars.

Talismans are used to attract something specific to their owner or to provide a particular power or energy. Talismans should be charged and consecrated in order to fill them with the power and energy of their intended use. They should also be dedicated to the person who will be wearing it.
Talismans are often carved with symbols or words to increase their power. Metal, stone or bones are commonly used for this purpose.
The best time to charge and consecrate a talisman is during the waxing moon. Specific zodiacal and planetary correspondences can also be used to determine the best time.
Crystals and Gemstones are also frequently used as Amulets and Talismans. The inherent mystical energy of a Gemstone can make this type of Amulet or Talisman even more powerful.
This is a Talisman that I made using Purple Agate. I carved a Runic symbol on it using a Dremel. The Runic symbol is Sowilo which is the Rune of positive changes, spirit of life, success, and motivation.
The symbolism of the Talisman's programming communicates with your subconscious mind which in turn communicates with universal energies. If these energies aren't blocked by doubt then pathways will align with your intention. Talismans are a great way to channel universal energies in order to attract what you want, especially when combined with spell work.
