Yesterday we went back to the old apartment to clean and get the rest of our stuff.
I sat outside for the last time on my porchy porch which is also the home of these lovely wasps.
You can see their nest above me at the top of the left pic.
We used to have maintenance take care of them, but they always just ended up building their nests shortly after anyway so we just accepted the little buggers.
Wasps have always freaked me out, but we have been able to coexist in peace for about 3 years.
I always wondered what the point of a Wasp was so I was reading about them earlier.
The internets told me that they are in a category that is neither a bee or an ant.
I guess when you really look at them they kinda do look like an ant and bee combo though.
They are apparently quite useful in horticulture for pest control and are pollinators as well.
I'm glad to hear that they have a useful purpose other than scaring the hell out of me.
In other news, there are sporadic massive downpours happening here due to the tropical storm.
Also......this just happened.....
I'm sitting here outside and this little lizard thingy just ran right by me.
Ok....off to continue getting my house in order now.
