I received an email today claiming to be from EOS.IO stating there was an Airdrop for holders of EOS and Ethereum and at first, I thought this to be true until I contacted a mod steempowerpics@steempowerpics from the official EOS discord server = https://discord.gg/9GkJv5Y

The email linked to a similarly named site as the official EOS site EOS.IO > EOS.COM with a dot underneath

A dot underneath a letter in a Domain URL(Website Link) as far as I've seen has always been a phising site and should be looked out for.

On visiting the site I was brought to a page claiming to give 15 EOS to 1 ETH which is a ridiculously high offer to make.

Underneath was this asking to visit a FAKE myetherwallet site instead of just requesting address which a real airdrop would only need and not a transfer.

Official MyEtherWallet will always have MYETHERWALLET LLC in green.
