It’s been a month since I last logged into Hive, and it’s not that I wanted to step away on purpose—I was just really focused on finishing my research project so I could complete my degree in Education. Today I’m back with good news: I’ve finished it, and my advisor and the state’s regional coordinator have already approved it, so on Saturday my advisor and I are meeting to upload it to the university’s portal 🥳🥳🥳. Those were days of hard work, but as they say, “No pain, no gain.” I spent a lot of time hoping for a tutor who would truly offer me professional guidance, since the one assigned to me at first wouldn’t even reply to my messages. A month ago, I thought I wouldn’t be able to turn in my work, since everything I had done was on my own, drawing on previous projects and applying them to my research. When they told me that that professor wouldn’t be my advisor anymore, I was pleasantly surprised, because they were going to assign me someone new, and I prayed that this person would actually be willing to work with me. But the first professor who reviewed my work practically told me I had to redo it and that I surely wouldn’t have time to submit it for this round. You can imagine how that made me feel; I lost hope for a moment, but then I remembered that he wasn’t going to be my advisor, so it didn’t matter what he thought, and I should wait for the assignment and let the right person review my work and decide what needed to be changed or added. >## ***Hola amigos, bienvenidos a mi blog*** >Hola amigos, ya hace un mes que me hallaba pérdida de Hive, y no es que quisiera alejarme a propósito sino que estaba muy concentrada en culminar mi proyecto de investigación, para así poder culminar mi carrera en educación, hoy vuelvo con buenas noticias, y es que lo terminé y ya está aprobado por mi tutora y la coordinadora regional del estado, por lo que el sábado mi tutora y yo nos reunimos para subirlo al link de la universidad 🥳🥳🥳. >Fueron días de mucho trabajo pero, como dicen “Sarna con gusto no pica” me pasé mucho tiempo esperando tener una tutora que de verdad me ofreciera su mano profesional, pues la que me asignaron al principio no me respondía ni los mensajes, hace un mes pensaba que no iba a poder entregar, ya que todo lo que tenía en mi trabajo solo lo había hecho por mi cuenta, guiándome de trabajos anteriores y aplicándolo a mi investigación. Cuando me dijeron que ya esa profesora no iba a ser mi tutora me alegré gratamente, porque me iban a asignar alguien nuevo y rogaba porque esa persona si tuviera las ganas de trabajar conmigo, pero el primer profesor que me revisó lo que yo tenía en mi trabajo, casi me dijo que tenía que volverlo a hacer y que seguramente no me iba a dar tiempo para entregarlo en este lote. When I contacted her, she told me she would look into it and let me know if it was possible. So, after checking, she told me YES, but that I would have to work hard and that whatever she asked me to research, write up, and send her, I had to do it without making excuses, since she was going to put it all together for me, because my computer had also broken down a few days earlier and wouldn’t turn on— that was another reason why I lost hope for a moment. I’ll continue telling you: each of us was at home, communicating via WhatsApp, and she was putting the paper together with the information I sent and organizing what was already written in the paper. Believing that everything was ready, she sent it to the regional coordinator, and we waited for a response until Saturday, when they finally sent her the approval letter and the link to the university where the research papers must be submitted. The link changes every time there’s a submission period; this happens three times a year and is only available to the people in charge of approving the papers. And so, we met at her house to upload it, together and happy—at least I was. >Esperé una semana hasta que por fin tuve tutora, al comunicarme con ella, me dijo que lo iba a revisar y luego me decía si existía la posibilidad, así que luego de revisar me dijo que SI, pero que había que trabajar y que todo lo que me fuera diciendo que investigara, redactara y le enviara, lo tenía que hacer sin poner excusa, pues ella me lo iba a ir armando, porque además mi computadora se había dañado unos días antes y no quiso prender, esa fue otra de las cosas por las que por un momento perdí las esperanzas. Continuo contándoles, cada una en nuestras casas y comunicándonos por Whatsapp, ella iba armando el trabajo con la información que yo enviaba y organizando lo que ya estaba escrito en el trabajo. >Al creer que ya estaba todo listo, lo envió a la coordinadora regional y esperamos respuesta hasta que el sábado por fin le enviaron la carta de aprobación y el link de la universidad al que tienen que ser enviados los trabajos de investigación, el link cambia cada vez que hay un periodo para subir trabajos, eso ocurre tres veces por año y solo está a la disposición de las personas encargadas de aprobar los trabajos. Supposedly, when the work comes back (because they’re sending it back), it will include some corrections that need to be made, but I hope there aren’t too many. God willing, I’ll be defending my thesis in July, but by then I’ll have a few months to work on the presentation and prepare myself so I don’t get nervous and can manage my time well. In the end, I’m happy, and it doesn’t matter how much work I’ll have over the next few months, because now I see that I’m much closer to my goal. >Ahora, solo queda esperar, supuestamente cuando el trabajo regresa (porque lo envían de vuelta) viene con algunas correcciones que hay que hacerle, pero espero que no sean muchas. Con el favor de Dios en julio estaré realizando la defensa, pero para ese momento me quedan unos meses para ir haciendo la presentación y preparándome para que no me den nervios y tenga dominio del tiempo. Al final, estoy feliz y no importa todo el trabajo que voy a tener estos meses, porque ahora veo que estoy mucho más cerca de mi meta.
