The little droppings amounting to something. A review of my holdings on Hive.
Hive changing mindsets.
Relating to what my lecturer said in the lecture hall yesterday, "there is a lot of money online." This was a result of him analyzing some of his daily expenditures and comparing them to what he was earning. This may not be necessary in countries where things are easy. Yeah!! The environment can make you see things from different perspectives; a normal idea that works for someone in a different environment may sound absurd, given that you may have tried that approach and found nothing positive. Hive is entirely a different environment, and I will not regret taking part. Sometimes I wish I knew about hives earlier. This is the extent to which the concepts I have learned here have built my affinity.
The environment in which I grew up doesn't encourage online investments or hustle; around there, it is believed to be what you can work out with your hands. Yes, I see reasons why the whole motive stands. At that level, it is seen as the best way of making money, but looking forward to seeing how people survive and carry out their hustle, one can find out that they are far more lucrative compared to what my environment showed.
A little experience on this blockchain is breeding ideas that years ago I never had; taking risks has been an ultimate investment strategy. One cannot succeed without such an adventure. It all started when I had my first payout from my Introduction on Hive. Normally I would have used it for something else, yet I had to put it on the blockchain by staking some hives in the form of HP. The journey through the investment developed into buying cent tokens and later engaging in other second-layer tokens.
The prices of some of the second-layer tokens may not be close to what we expected a few months ago or a year ago, yet there is a chance to do better. An experience in GLX and the like has been the best so far. Even with the least expected token, like a photo, I used it for some interesting hive transactions. It is a hive where the concept of having money to invest is not an issue because, by earning little on the blockchain via writing, other tokens of interest can be targeted.
Just as I read through the content about Muterra, It had to take my mind back to the part where the hive is not just an area for fun or writing but also where research can be carried out and timely updates on the happenings within and outside the community can be shared.
I started GLX with just a little, but today, after my daily earnings, I can boldly say there is about 10,000 GLX in my possession right now.
