Greetings everyone!! I am happy to partake in this week edition about Education.
The concept of education is more understood by those with a special mindset about it.
Education to many is gateway to job opportunities, but this way of reasoning happens to favour only few. In my country if a common man consider education as a gateway for employment, it takes special grace before this can be achieved. It is only those with strong connection that still acquire knowledge for employment purposes.
This way of reasoning, if I am being ask I will say it is a wrong concept about education. Education has a special way of enlightening different individuals.
The discoveries in the world today is because education has been there right from time. Without education the world wouldn't have been a better one as the technology most of us rely on came from education.
What is Education?
To me I see it as an eye opener, by this I mean a way of enlightening everyone. Giving those who acquire it the knowledge to apply it in their every day activities.
Education opens everyone to better opportunities. Opportunities like how to relate to people, how to function in the midst of individuals.
With respect to how to relate to others, it can be applied in businesses. One must not aquire knowledge for just a job opportunity, Education can help you to be very strategic in your business, giving you a better view in your business management.
Most business tycoons didn't attend any University, but in one way or the other acquired knowledge to be what they are today.
In regards to the skill acquired in Universities, in the process of acquiring a particular skill in any institution, it gives one the opportunity to participate in other activities which will further add more knowledge to the skill you are acquiring.
