In 1884 this property was acquired by Henry Schuerman in exchange for a debt and then became one of Sedona's most prominent homesteads. At the time of this photo about 15 years ago it was the last homestead structure to be occupied in Sedona. Not to long after this photo the property was sold for development and all of the structures were removed.
