I started with a pencil drawing, photographed it and edited in Gimp 2 (a free program comparable to photoshop).
There is some inspiration from ancient Mayan and Aztec art, something I've been immersed in lately.
I might add something in the center, perhaps a character riding the double bird. Or maybe just a large egg in the center... with another double bird inside?
Drawing is a lifelong practice and I am interested in refining and expanding my style. Let me know your thoughts, if you have any.
