It may seem as if we go grocery shopping a lot, but with 8 mouths too feed, it takes a surprising amount of thought energy and attendance to come up with three meals a day.
Shopping on Sunday evening is spooky, since it's when the inventory is lowest.
It reminds me of the beginning of covid when the shelves were emptied.

Hopefully, later this week there will be more inventory and the shelves will be filled again. But we don't know until it happens. We wonder... will this become the "new normal"?
