Today was piano lessons with grandma and my brother came along. He just so happened to bring his fish-ing-pole. Hmm, let's go fishing!!!
First we visited a rocky area, but the wind was very strong and icy, so we moved.
While my back was turned, my brother's reel somehow got messed up, there was fishing line everywhere. I tried turning the handle and the whole thing fell apart!
Time to looks for a new fishing reel! Thankfully they're not outrageously expensive.
We visited a sporting good store and my brother found a whole lot of fish-ing-poles!
He was very happy finding all sorts of fun things at the store. A whole wall of basketballs!
Baseball mitts were on display too, this place is GREAT!
We found a replacement rod and reel, specially designed to not get snarled up. Perfect replacement!
It was a fun day out at the lake. I enjoyed it and I know my brother enjoyed it too... and the trip to the sports store was an unexpected bonus!
