Today was a wedding shower for my sister (in law) who is getting married next month. We enjoyed the afternoon and evening with family, good company and lots of yummy food and activities. There were board games, singing, conversations - lots of things to keep everyone well entertained the entire time.
The weather was warm today, so the children spent a bunch of time out back playing various yard games while most of the adults chatted inside.
There was a taco bar set up for people to munch on as they got hungry.
My fishing buddy was there, reminding me about the "fish-ing pole, the lake"
After everyone ate, the children had ice cream bars and they enjoyed them on the porch swing.
The future bride and groom opened shower gifts throughout the day as people visited.
As it got later, the children went down in the basement to sing songs on the microphone.
Board games were set up in the dining area.
My little one got to try on her flower crown that will be at the wedding. They were very excited to try them on!
They also played with chalk in the back patio.
Daddy spent some time with his boy so he doesn't get himself into mischief.
It was a fun evening! I'm happy to share these happy memories with you!
Bless the Most High!
Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin
We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.
No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13
Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny
Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations.
Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books. I am an affiliate for Libertas Publishing, your purchase will help our family grow financially.
