As a birthday gift to my oldest daughter, when she turned 10, we set up a desk and computer for her. It's essentially a family computer and she was (and is) very gracious letting children use it for various purposes.
Now my second daughter turned 10 so we set up a desk and computer just for her!
The PC is very small but powerful enough to do what she needs. I had lost the power cord, so she waited very patiently for a replacement to come. After it arrived, I booted the PC to discover there was no operating system. Actually there WAS, but the SSD had gone bad and it was booting to an empty partition. I purchased Windows 10 PRO (not 11), but quickly discovered the SSD was a goner.
So I purchased a new SSD. I was shocked how inexpensive they have become! I bought a 256 GB SSD for about $17. Crazy!
After installing the new SSD, I installed Windows 10 and she was up and running! She had been saving up money for another license for a Minecraft account and it was the first thing installed on the new PC.
That very evening, they were already playing together in the same world! She was very happy with her belated birthday present.
She set up her PINK keyboard, and PINK mouse on her PINK desk. She let her sister play Minecraft using the colorful keyboard! And her cherry-blossom lamp.
