If it gets outrageously bad, I'm confident that someone will build a new front-end which disregards "low ratings" and displays all content, uncensored. The raw blockchain data cannot be censored or removed. Some might say this destroys the "community curation" system, but if the community isn't really community, but some high-powered whale accounts, then something would have to be (and I believe will be) done. It just hasn't gotten bad enough... yet.
