I find it hilarious how one minute he's scoffing at the idea of not running, to this letter which reads as if he's known all along. I wish he had defined "progress as a nation", usually that includes strong borders, clearly defined sovereignty, military victories, diplomatic respect. But under his regime, it's been a disaster on all fronts.
