We have knives in the house, but they get very dull over time. I recently purchased a whetstone to sharpen knives!
We submerged our stone in water for five minutes. I can see little bubbles coming up as it fills with water.
The red side is 1000 grit and the white side is 6000 grit.
It comes with a base that prevents the stone from moving around while sharpening.
