Interesting article. However, I wonder about the wisdom of using a rottweiler as a service dog.

Rottweilers are wonderful and extremely intelligent dogs. They require a great deal of training.

Unfortunately, other dogs, and dog owners, do not respond well to rotts. If a rottweiler got off leash and into a fight; everyone would blame the rottweiler owner.

A rottweiler owner needs to be able to see what the dog and needs to be able to see other dogs and people that approach the dog.
