I've seen several articles of late talking about the effects of vitamin K2 on dental health. A huge portion of the population has a deficiency in vitamin K2.
Vitamin K2 is found in only a select group of whole foods. It turns out that a large portion of the population has a K2 deficiency. Highly processed foods have less K2. For example, grass fed beef and chicken have more K2 than grain fed.
Some people claim to have a significant decrease in cavities when they increase the K2 in their diet.
Vitamin D also plays a significant role in dental health.
It might be worthwhile looking it up.
