BTW: There is a large number of things that can be called "cults" in this world. Some people put all religions into the category of cult ... but there are many secular organizations and gangs that seek loyalty.

Large schools often have clubs where people can socialize and make friends. It seems to me that the best way to counter violent groups is to create productive non-violent groups.
