There were companies that developed decent business plans in the dot com boom.

One of the things that happened was that charletans created copies of the decent business models that were unstable.

We see this same phenomena in the crypto world. Where on group develops a decent model for a blockchain ... the code is copied and charletans create a dozen fly-by-night blockchains.

I would add to your list of lessons learned from the dotcom bust that bad money chases out good.
