The minimum curation reward is 0.001 ... you are missing the reward on some upvotes. Powering up will give you rewards for all of your upvotes.

I would power up that 18 HP right now. The badge has no value. It is not worth wasting a month worth of curation rewards just to get a badge. I like most of what @hivebuzz does ... but encouraging people to give up rewards for a badge is not one of them.
