When studying history, I realized that primary source of oppression in most societies is the self-declared leaders of the society.

At its heart, progressivism is a method in which politicians use groups of people to gain power. The ideology does not contain, in and of itself, a mechanism for improving the lives of the people being used. In some cases progressive politicians have been known to abuse the people they used to gain power.

When one looks at the poorest areas of the world, one often finds the area is controlled by extremely powerful people who put the rest of the community down.

To an extent, Conservatism is just a mirror image of progressivism.

I believe that the best method to improving a society comes when one limits the power of government and one encourages the people in a community to find their own path to self improvement.

People used to call the third path liberal. That word was destroyed. Despite the fact that the word was destroyed. I think there is merit to the concept of liberty.
