I had been thinking of writing a piece of code for myself that would list all new posts with links to the canonical URL. That way I could interface with each post with the intended site.

I think that such an interface could be developed as a product.

A simple list of the new posts with the canonical URL would help users find the correct interface and it might have SEO benefits by re-enforcing the canonical URL.
