RE: What is your opinion on IA?[ESP-ENG]
Before talking about AI, I thought I would mention that the image you posted from iStock is a copyright violation. Since HIVE rewards you for your posts; it is important that you secure the rights to post

RE: TIL: Kids with no father have shorter telomeres
In the name of social justice I believe that the government, not fathers, should be the source of telomeres. Vote Biden 2024. If he can run a successful presidential campaign while locked in his basement,

RE: Restoring microwave oven [Eng+Spa]
Nice job. There is a fair amount of copper in microwaves. So, it is possible to make some money by scrapping the units for parts. There are a few dangerous things. The magnetron contains beryllium oxide

RE: What AI Fearmongers Really Fear: Losing their Monopoly and Power
Only a few entities like Microsoft, Google and Musk have the resources to develop AI. AI might actually be increasing the centralization of power. !WINE

RE: Students Love ChatGPT
The law and the legal related things changed a lot around the world in the previous two years. The changes due to COVID19 were a bit capricious. Do we really want decisions made during a period of panic

RE: Students Love ChatGPT
ChatGPT seems to be using random posts from the internet for its knowledge base. So, it is extremely frightening to see judges using the product in their work. I am not sure if I would be as upset about

RE: Enviromental Hazards series: Menace of Erosion and its effects.
I live in Utah which is blest with numerous deep and extremely beautiful canyons. I've come to see erosion as a force for good. Of course people are prone to extract resources or build things without any

RE: Students Love ChatGPT
I suspect the real fear in the academic community is that conversations with chatGPT are often more informed and insightful than discussions with the average unionized teacher. !WINE

RE: Thoughts on the Market: Discovering New Hive Price Floor and the Role of HBD's Depeg
The fact that investors can convert HBD into HIVE affects the price. So it seems to me that proper evaluation of HIVE and HBD should look at the market cap of the two coins. Ausbit bank shows the current

Was it the mask? or was it the fact that people were paying attention to immune health and social distancing? BTW: I caught a really bad cold from a little girl who was wearing a mask. The mask probably

RE: Trans Fat, the Poisonous Man-made Fat
It is interesting the way that the big food industry convinced the world that fat from natural sources was bad while promoting manufactured fat as good. For years I believed "the science" that

RE: Did you know that PHP can extract values from arrays as variables? extract()
I think PHP extract is a wonderful tool. Personally I stopped using it. I like to explicitly initialize all the variables in a program. I also don't like making copies of data. Anymore, I just draw data

RE: Can you solv Thise picture 🧐
The first line implies that an apple is worth 10. (30/3 = 10). The second line implies that a banana is worth 4. (18 - 10)/2 = 4 The third line implies that a coconut is worth 2. 4 -2 = 2 My rational mind

RE: Did you know that PHP can extract values from arrays as variables? extract()
The early versions of PHP automatically extracted $_POST, $_GET and $_COOKIE arrays as variables. This made programming with PHP super easy as one could define variables in a form and use them in a script.

RE: Should we blame ChatGPT??
Oddly, the two times I used chatGBT for research, it gave me incorrect information. Even worse, the program did not give me links to the resources it used. The program seems to repeat popular narratives.

RE: Why does restarting your computer/ phone work most of the time?
The analogy is correct. Restarting returns a device to a known state. There might be a problem with the system configuration. Returning to a known state helps people figure this out. Restarting the machine
