Adults have the responsibility to preserve that smile and innocence. If children bring to school the anguish and mistreatment from home; if they bring hunger rather than healthy snacks, they have neither the ears nor the patience to learn.
The school year started over here, and there are still days without bread or electricity at night, not even to cook their food. One must be very ingenious to shape children into the adults that a country needs.
