I have been teleworking almost two years. I am gaining weight as a lot of people working home. Especially, my office was next to the kitchen, so I grabbed food from the kitchen island when I stopped by. I had a New Year resolution this year- lost 10 pounds.
I run treadmill or play table tennis home , but it seems didn’t work much. My weight was maintained, but not drop.

After I went to hike with my kids and my brother’s family in the Christmas holiday, I felt like I should go out more to walk or hike.

The place I live have several rivers, but two hours away from ocean. I used to live in LA, so the river was not impressed me much. But after I walked more on the river bank, I changed my mind.

This river trail is located next to a high end hotel and a famous restaurant in the town. I parked my car in the hotel parking lot, then explored the area with my daughter. Maybe because of the pandemic, we didn’t see much people around.

I really had a good time with my daughter, and I didn’t realize we walked over 10,000 steps.
Life is still wonderful in the pandemic!
