Three years ago, I went to Macau with group of friends. At the time we took the Venetian bus from the border to the casino, the bus driver accused us kicking his bag. We kept telling him that we even didn’t touch his bag, but he insisted we did. Then I realized this guy must discriminate us. He thought we were from Mainland due to the whole time we spoke our hometown dialogue.
Even though I live in the US for over thirty years, I was a Chinese immigrant. Why because what I spoke, this bus driver looked down on us. When we arrived in Venetian casino, I said why the Macau Venetian looks so bad compared to Las Vegas Venetian. This guy suddenly changed his tone and said why did not you go to check it out.
I hardly realize how bad the discrimination affected us until that incident. I remind myself not to discriminate anyone. We are the human, we all need respect, and nobody is above us.
I am in Las Vegas Venetian currently, so I take some pictures of this hotel to share with you. Do you agree it’s very beautiful?
