After COVID-19 started in my area, I hardly went out, not mentioned driving to other towns. The COVID infection rate finally came down to the new low level in March, I told myself that I needed to go somewhere nearby if not to LA.
Kids were on Spring break home and I took couple days off from work, so I asked them to go to LA with me. They said no, how sad! But I just could not just stay home - I were on vacation!
After debating going to SF or Reno, we decided to drive to the near by city - Reno. I want to see some snow mountains passing the Sierra Mountains. It must be very beautiful there. Checked the weather forecast to make sure no snowing at the Boreal, we did not have much experience driving on the snow. I remember one time I went with my friends to ski there. On the way home, the car was almost out of control. I was so scare after and afraid driving under the snow.
