Driving over thirty years, I hardly face both side of the highway closed. I was driving home from other town, supposedly only two hours, but took me over four and half hours. It was frustrating, sitting in the car moving like snail. Then I took out my Nikon camera to take pictures of the ranch on both sides of the small road.
We had to get out from the highway and followed the GPS to find a entrance of the highway to get home. It took us to this town located in the mountains over 2000 feet elevation. I heard this town was a wonderful place to live from one of the ex-coworker used to live here. People owned a big piece of property, and the pine trees were around the house.
Finally, I had a chance to explore this area because the highway was closed. Personally, I like to live in the big city because of the convenience, but it is good to go to mountains in the hottest days like over 100 degrees in the valley.
Hope one day I rent a vacation house there and enjoy the nice weather in the hot summer, so I can experience different type of lifestyle. Maybe one day I like to live in the mountains. See how beautiful of the nature up there in the pictures.
