Today is Chinese New Year, the most important day in Chinese tradition and culture. We suppose are not doing much stuff, just relax and enjoy the time with the family. We say good things to each other but not any bad words.
Even though I live in the United States for many years, now I am older and be more follow the Chinese traditions. We said good things to each other this morning, and kids even said Gong Hei Fat Choy to us.
I took a day off today. We believe if we work so hard today, the whole year will be the same. Even though I am not sure if that’s what it is, why not enjoy a day off and relax. Besides, kids are going to school and my hubby is working home, I can totally enjoy the Chinese New Year by myself.
I felt kind of boring since not much things to do, and I just sat on sofa watching TV. I saw the flowers and fruits in front of my fireplace that I used for Chinese New Year decorations. Why not took some pictures and posted to Liketu.
