Since this is my first post in this community, I think I need to introduce myself little bit. I live in a suburban neighborhood in California. I have my real estate license but not selling house though. The reason is that I found out that I was not suitable working in this field after I got my license.
I was working as a property manager in a small real estate company after I graduated from university with Finance major. I enjoyed manage properties and saw our agents making good money, so I went to get my license. To be a good salesperson, I think you really need to know how to convince your clients to buy, make times for them, and sometimes even need to pretend. I am the person lack of these skills, so why I need to bend myself. I could develop a career that I enjoy to do, and I could use my license to buy or sell houses for myself.
In this community , I am going to share some of the properties in the market located in my area, either still in the market or just sold. Maybe you like it, and you want to invest or even like to move here be my neighbor in one day. The property I am introducing today is located couple houses down from where I live. It was just off market couple days ago, so I would use it as an examples how crazy the house market here.
This house has 2,539 square feet, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It was listed in the market on 3/29/2022 with $695,000 and closed on 4/20/2022 with $768,000. The data showed us that this house just listed, and the buyer already made the offer with $73,000 more to get this house. Is it crazy?
I never see this thing happened here for the last twenty years. I remember people lined up and waited for three days to buy a new house, the house was sold less than half of the price but still took long time to sell in the past, but with this high price and snapped by people just like this not in my imagination.
Maybe people scare of the hyperinflation coming. At least holding a property is better than holding cash.
