The reason I opted to write this comparison, Is because I always
encountered people asking which is better book or eBook?
To begin with, let us first put on the table a legend.
Legend:
1 = helpful
2 = Extremely helpful to environment or to the health of a person
-1 = not helpful
-2 = Harmful to environment or to the health of a person
Next is we need to put down on the table each PROS and CONS
of these two reading materials and along with it are the values
from the legend above.
Pros:
Does not need electricity = 1
Cost a lot of money to pirate = 1
Not harmful to the eye = 2
Cons:
Buying it expensive = -1
Heavy = -1
Cut down million of tress every year = -2
Duplication of a book very expensive = -1
Transfer very costly = -1
Total: -4
Pros:
Buying it is cheap = 1
Not heavy = 1
Does not need to cut down milion of trees = 2
Duplication of an eBook zero cost = 1
Transfer does not cost anything = 1
Cons:
Short battery life = -1
Easy to pirate = -1
Harmful to the eye = -2
Total: +4
Clearly the winner here is the eBook.
So eBook is the future.
And books someday in museum only.
So if someone asked which is better just show this article to them.
