Greetings dear mothers and fathers of Hive, today I bring good news because Rafael is finally in better health, as I had told you a few days ago, my son got sick after attending school the first week, he was the victim of a very strong virus and In the following days he was very suffering from cough, especially at night, the cough syrup treatment did not seem to have any effect, until one night I tried giving my child an infusion of eucalyptus leaves before going to sleep. That night Rafael didn't wake up to cough in the night and everything started to get better 🥰, the next day my son was so happy drawing and coloring, he asked me to explain to him how to draw a toad, something that I find curious because he is afraid of the toads like me, but he told me that the toads from stories seemed pretty, I explained to him and he made his drawing.
I was very happy seeing Rafael's health improvement so when he finished the drawing, I encouraged him to paint the drawing, after this I wanted to encourage his imagination, I asked him the name of the toad, he told me that the toad's name was Andrés , I asked him more about Andrés the toad and I told him why he didn't make a story about him, immediately his eyes lit up and he started the story, he told me that Andrés lived in the lagoon and so he continued with the rest, I was very attentive to his story which had a good structure despite being brief, it had a beginning, a conflict and a resolution, that is, Rafael's constant readings have made him immediately outline what a story should be like, This is a good development of your knowledge and communication skills.
The next day Rafael got up early and wrote the story on the same page that he had made the drawing on, he also folded the page as if it were a book. That same day we had a visit from my sister and my nephews, the three of them read the story that Rafael did and they started laughing, because they thought the ending of the story was very funny. This made me remember when I was little and I made up poems for my mother. I think creative writing is an excellent mental exercise for children because it allows them to learn. and have fun at the same time. I hope you like the story 🥰
