Saludos querida comunidad, como les había dicho hace un tiempo tenía bastante lana acrílica de tonos rodeados y por eso se me ocurrió hacer una serie de amigurumis que usaran esos colores, entonces para esta ocasión se me ocurrió hacer un mini unicornio, acá les cuento como fue mi experiencia haciéndolo 🥰

Greetings dear community, as I mentioned a while ago I had quite a bit of acrylic yarn in various shades, so I decided to make a series of amigurumi using those colors. For this occasion, I decided to make a mini unicorn. Here's how my experience making it went 🥰

Proceso / Process

Usé lana acrílica y ganchillo de 3.5mm, la idea era hacer el unicornio que se mantuviera de pies sobre sus 4 patas, como el hilo es grueso las puntadas debían ser pocas para poder garantizar una proporción pequeña, entonces hice primero sus patas, hice un anillo mágico de 6 puntos bajos rosado oscuro con borde rosado claro, hice 2 hileras de puntos bajos.

Para el cuerpo hice 6 cadenas de base, trabajé sobre las cadenas haciendo 2 aumentos en cada esquina para obtener 16, luego hice una hilera uniendo cada pata con 2 puntos bajos, hice 24 puntos bajos por 4 hileras, luego hice 3 disminuciones ubicadas solo en la parte trasera del cuerpo por 2 hileras, enfrenté y cosí 8 puntadas y dejé libre 10 para coser el cuerpo a la cabeza.

I used acrylic yarn and a 3.5mm crochet hook. The idea was to make a unicorn that could stand on all four legs. Since the yarn is thick, I needed to use few stitches to maintain a small size. So, I made the legs first. I created a magic ring of 6 dark pink single crochet stitches with a light pink border, and then worked 2 rows of single crochet.

For the body, I chained 6, then worked over the chains, increasing 2 stitches in each corner to get 16 stitches. Next, I worked a row joining each leg with 2 single crochet stitches, then worked 24 single crochet stitches for 4 rows. Finally, I made 3 decreases only at the back of the body for 2 rows. I turned the work to the front and sewed 8 stitches, leaving 10 stitches free to sew the body to the head.

Para la cabeza comencé con 6 puntos bajos en un anillo con rosado oscuro, 3 aumentos por 2 hileras, cambié a hilo rosado claro e hice 3 aumentos por 2 hileras más, hice 18 puntos bajos por 6 hileras, y para finalizar hice 6 disminuciones por 2 hileras. Coloqué los ojos de plástico y rellené antes de cerrar. Cosí la cabeza al cuerpo.

For the head, I started with 6 single crochet stitches in a ring with dark pink yarn, increased 3 times for 2 rows, changed to light pink yarn and increased 3 times for 2 more rows, made 18 single crochet stitches for 6 rows, and to finish, decreased 6 times for 2 rows. I attached the plastic eyes and stuffed it before closing. I sewed the head to the body.

Para las orejas usé lana rosado claro, hice una anillo de 4 puntos bajos y una hilera con 2 aumentos, hice so iguales y las cosí a ambos lados de la cabeza. Para el cuerno use lana rosado oscuro, hice un anillo de 4 puntos bajos y 1 aumentos por 2 hileras. Cosí a la frente entre las orejas.

Para las crines hice 14 cadenas de base y sobre estas 6 aumentos y 8 puntos bajos. Hice 2 de color rojo y 2 de color rosado oscuro. Para la cola hice 10 cadenas de base y sobre estas 6 aumentos y 4 puntos bajos, hice una roja y otra rosada y las cosí a la parte posterior del cuerpo.

For the ears, I used light pink yarn. I made a magic ring of 4 single crochet stitches and a row with 2 increases. I made two identical ones and sewed them to either side of the head. For the horn, I used dark pink yarn. I made a magic ring of 4 single crochet stitches and 1 increase for 2 rows. I sewed it to the forehead between the ears.

For the mane, I chained 14, then worked 6 increases and 8 single crochet stitches. I made two in red and two in dark pink. For the tail, I chained 10, then worked 6 increases and 4 single crochet stitches. I made one red and one pink tail and sewed them to the back of the body.
