I've never really appreciated sweet potatoes when back home.
Since being in Vietnam, I realised that it is indeed a staple food for many of the locals.
They would stop their bikes on the side of the streets and buy a bag of freshly boiled sweet potatoes and have it for breakfast. 1 bag cost VND20,000 which is about MYR3.50. Affordable and filing for the stomach.
