I have been using Linux since 2007. Also active in variuos events and workshops about Linux and Open Source. I was chairman of PR at Linux User Group in Aceh (Also known as KPLI-Aceh), Organized many linux and Open Source events, either as a committee or a participant. Virtually, we are very diligent and vocal in promoting FLOSS and the use of Open Source software to avoid using pirated applications.
My background as Linux evangelist and motivation that always drive me to do and contribute more to Open Sources world and it's community, Linux is one of them. Refers to my background, I look for things related to Linux world and Open Source community, then I found Utopian.io, I think this is the place, a place where I can channel my desire to contribute in Open Source field. I feel very passionate about Utopian.io. Here is the place, I feel like part of Utopian since I first knew it.
I proposed my self to be a moderator at Utopian.io because I'm sure and believe that I am capable of moderating works at Utopian.io. I would like to moderate translation and tutorial categories. I've written quite a lot of tutorials about Linux and Open Source, both on Utopian.io and my personal blogs.
In 2013, before joining Utopian.io, I once joined the translation team of "The Debian Administrator's Handbook: Debian Wheezy from Discovery to Mastery" by Raphaël Hertzog and Roland Mas into Indonesian. At that time, the translation project was led by Atoz, consisting of Linux and Open Source software's users and activists, especially users of Debian Linux distro. The translation itself is done on Transifex platform.
Until now this project continues even though the team leader and team members have been replaced by new contributors and new members.
I have also joined and contributed to the translation of Freecodecamp into Indonesian. Freecodecamp is a nonprofit organization that consists of supportive community of millions of coders, where it's members build projects, earn certificates and get experience by coding for nonprofits.
Bahasa Indonesia is my native language. I am able to write in Bahasa Indonesia smoothly, corretly and formally. I speak English fluently, able to write and read in English comprehensively.
I am open to moderate in the following categories:
