Your smartphone is a device that you probably do not separate. It's always around you. It's nice when the iPhone is working, but somehow it's "spilling" the battery. Does it help? There is, of course ...
It's okay if you've drained the battery while you're near a power source so you can start charging right away. And what if it happens somewhere on the way, on a trip, on a beach, where it is not near a source of energy? Well, then you're in trouble, and your iPhone as smart as it is - it's just a piece of metal, glass and plastic.
To help you at least ease your life, we provide exactly 20 tips to help you extend battery life to the next charge. Interestingly, but many of these tips can be applied to other devices, such as Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry, ... may be different names and schedule options, but the logic is the same. A good part of the option also applies to tablets.
Here are our tips, smart to use them ...
Turn off the Background App Refresh
You'll do this in "Settings> General> Usage, or" Settings> General> Background App Refresh, and exclude all those apps you think are not going to be upgraded. It consumes all that battery.
Switch "Push Email" to "Fetch" (interval)
Do you really need to receive every email at the same time when it comes? We doubt it. You may also have another email that is practically unimportant. Go to Settings> Mail, Contacts, Calendars> Fetch New Data, and switch the option from "Push" to "Fetch" or "Manual". With "Fetch" emails read at intervals of 15, 30, ... minutes (as in a computer), and the "Manual" option enables manual check. The higher the interval, the battery will last longer. You set the intervals yourself.
Turn off the "Push" notifications
Many apps send you notifications that you probably are not interested in. Go to the "Settings" Notification Center, and look under "Include," and simply exclude app notifications for which you do not need them.
Disconnect "Automatic Downloads"
Everything is clear, download apps only when you want to. Go to "Settings> iTunes & App Store" and select "Use Cellular Data," and turn on the upgrade only when you're connected to Wi-Fi. You will also save battery and data traffic. Or even better - turn off all automatic upgrades, run it periodically.
Reduce the brightness of the screen
More brightness on the screen expands battery faster, that's clear. You can set this in "Settings> Wallpaper & Brightness" and select "Auto-Brightness Off" and manually adjust the brightness.
Turn off the vibration
Mechanical movements use more battery, and that's clear. Go to "Settings> Sound" and turn off the vibration.
Reduce Auto Lock
How much time does it take to put the smartphone on the desk to shut down the screen? And you can reduce that period, you are not looking at the screen anyway. Go to "Settings> General> Auto-Lock" and reduce the time at least as you think it should.
Turn off AirDrop
You probably do not need this. Swipe your finger up, enter the "Control Center" and turn it off.
Turn off location services (GPS)
And this does not need you, mostly. You may think you need it, but this option saves a lot of battery. Go to "Settings> Privacy> Location Services" and turn off all apps that are not tracking you. You can also go to "Settings> Privacy> Location Services> System Services" where you can turn off "Frequent Locations, Diagnostics & Usage, and Location-Based iAds".
How to extend battery life on iPhone or other device 0210. Turn off Bluetooth
This is something you really use occasionally, you must turn it off when you do not use it, because it consumes a lot of battery power. You will do this in the "Control Center".
Turn off the animation
Any graphics or animation slows down the operation of the device and consumes the battery. Go to "Settings> General> Accessibility and turn on" Reduce Motion ". Then, in "Settings> Wallpapers & Brightness> Choose Wallpaper" select something from "Stills" or a photo. Dynamic backgrounds, animations and so-called "parallax" effects are activated thanks to information received from the device. And it consumes the battery.
Better download than stream
When talking about a battery it is definitely better to download some music number and listen to it off-line than over the Internet. Even better if you download through Wi-Fi, everything goes faster and less battery is used.
Adjust Spotlight Search
Standardly, Spotlight Search constantly indexes and searches for something. You can filter it and get faster results, and even save a little battery. Go to "Settings> General> Spotlight Search" and remove everything from the list you do not want to search.
Wi-Fi in front of data traffic
Whenever you can, use Wi-Fi, say while you are home, at work, at your neighbors, in your city, whenever you can. The connection is faster, there is no data consumption, and the battery costs less.
Turn on Airplane mode
If you do not have the time to call it, either
