Getting leads is one thing. Turning them into paying customers is where most people fall apart.
In my role reviewing business applications, I see this pattern constantly. People generate interest -- they get inquiries, they have conversations -- but the money never shows up. The leads go silent. Potential customers say "I'll think about it" and disappear.
It's not usually about price. It's not about competition.
It's about trust and clarity.
Someone who's interested but doesn't buy is telling you something. Either they don't fully understand what they're getting, they don't trust that it'll work for them, or the risk of trying feels too high.
Your job isn't to push harder. It's to address what's actually holding them back.
After watching what separates entrepreneurs who close from those who don't:
They understand where the person is. Are they aware of the problem? Have they tried to solve it before? What's their hesitation right now?
They handle objections before they come up. If you know the three reasons someone might hesitate, address them upfront.
They make the next step obvious. Tell people exactly what happens when they say yes and make it easy to take that step.
The entrepreneurs who close consistently have a process. They know what to say and when to say it.
The Make More Offers Challenge includes a full module on conversion. Myron Golden teaches his approach to turning interest into revenue -- not through pressure, but through clarity and structure.
