What you're looking at is a graph of pack sales. The orange line is what actually occurred for Untamed packs. The graph on the left is looking at pack sales that have already occurred for Chaos Legion. The graph on the right is incorporating the data from Untamed into an educated guess as to how the rest of Chaos Legion sales will go.
If the end of Chaos Legion goes at the speed (percent of packs/day) of Untamed then we will have completed packs sales approximately ~180 days earlier than what it took for Untamed. We did this while 10Xing the supply, doubling the price, cutting CP in half, and we're still expected to come in ~180 shorter.
It shows that Matt, in particular, is a genius, and we are currently on track for 390 days of Chaos Legion sales (where wanted 365 days).
It also doesn't account for guild sales. We're seeing increasing activity from guilds and whales who want to purchase large volumes of packs, SPS, nodes, and whatever else we got going on. This is an element we really didn't have for Untamed and may end up speeding up the whole thing even more.
Finally, we're still cruising along at a pretty good clip during the longest steady declines of BTC price in the history of bitcoin.
I don't have a crystal ball. I can't tell you what the future will bring. But I look at this data and think, "My God, Splinterlands is a beast! This community is awesome! This is actually amazing!" It puts the end of the Chaos Legion sale somewhere in the November time frame.
We have 61 days of airdrop left. We sold out of the Pre-Sale validator nodes in 10 minutes. Only 2655 nodes of Tranche 1 left. We have more than 400M SPS staked. We're 57% way through Chaos Legion.
The Untamed chart shows a marked uptick in speed at 65% sold. Please push and shove. The second half of this year should be pretty awesome for the game, economy, and community. “

This sounds quite reasonable to me. As soon as the legendary summoners start to be announced I’m sure that sales will pick up again.
I really like the fact that there are so many chaos legion packs, as this has allowed me to level up summoners by just playing the game.
Don't say that you weren't warned.
