Asking "why?" is an awesome tool for students. Trying to figure out the why, the how, the intricate mechanisms of whatever they are questioning, sends them in a path to finding information. Why? And then you learn why, and that makes you an awesome student.
But living daily life as students do is a lot of work. We don't need to know: Why are people such bad drivers? Why can't they just be more efficient? How come things have to be so complicated? Finding out the answers to those why's solves nothing. Instead, lets change our questions. What can I do to stay safe on the road? What has to happen so I can maneuver efficiently through life? How can I keep my life simple? Asking "why" is overrated.
