In softball, if you're the Pitcher the play doesn't start until you say so. It can be nerve wrecking to have everyone in tune to your moves, watching and waiting; but its up to you to take their voices, expectation and wants out of the way and focus on your routine, your moves, and your delivery of the ball. Teammates can cheer and opponents can jeer, but, they still have to wait, for you.
You are the Pitcher of your life. Others can have suggestions all they want, but ultimately the choices are yours, and you don't have to move on them until you are ready.
