In the midst of the Coronavirus outbreak, I will be going back to Myanmar in a few weeks and working on developing tourism out there. The more I read about the outbreak, the more I am noticing the impacts this will have on the regional and global economy. Can you imagine being not able to work or leave the house for weeks on end. All this without getting paid. How long would you be able to do so without an income? Then imagine all those businesses with loans to pay, but with no income coming in. I think it is going to get more and more concerning the longer this goes on for.
I know this will all pass in time, but the effects will be with us for quite a while.
