Straight to the point. Could we have a featured post on which every witness (100 plus) declares their views on HF21. Then from there we the users of this ecosystem, can vote accordingly. Just make sure we are Steem millionaires and that juices up the vote weighting by a long shot.
I have seen the Steemit Inc team talk about "vote for your witness". So then, make it easy for us to vote on this particular issue. Give us a featured posted. All laid out to bare. List each witness vying for position and their policy views in regards to HF21.
To tell us to vote for our witness is too easy to say. Try it and see where it gets you. I am one person with 30 votes and you want me to review over 100 witness homepages. Trawl through thousands of posts to build a picture on their policies. Then vote to find out it all stake weighted and your steem dust was greatly appreciated ;)
Dare you to put it to a public vote, especially in regards to changes in the yield curve. Simple Yes or No question: "Do you agree to the proposed changes in the rewards curve?"
But then you would get the unwanted outcome.
Plus increasing % going to the curators, just means more Steem Power. SP which is locked into your account for 13 weeks. In effect causing a temporary but effective sink.
Anyways I doubt this will be noticed and the changes made. Looking at the charts, I see people are speaking with their money.
