... amazing how much this view changes between the seasons. The lake was named after Bill Peyto, who was an early trail guide and trapper in the Banff area. It sits at an elevation of 1,860 m (6,100 ft) in the Waputik Range of the Canadian Rockies, Banff National Park. The shot was taken near Bow Summit at 2132m (or 6994ft). Love Life, Love Photography
