I just think how your friend can give the key to a lady within a short time? I blame your friend at the first. What the lady has done was noting wrong and I don't think there is any issue with you guys but you should inform it to your friend because he deserve to know as it happened in his room. It's not like you are getting nosy. It's because you are concerned about your friend.
