First time battle with KING ERMINAZ TWINCLEAVER.

In recent days, I am trying to play more battles in Splinterlands. Seems like I am enjoying it more and more. I realized that if I play it consistently and win battles consistently, I have a chance to win new and powerful cards in frontier battles. As a beginner, my SPS stake is not so high; otherwise, I would get those cards in modern battles also. I become very happy whenever I receive new but powerful cards.

When it comes to battle, I rarely use the life elements. It’s not that I don’t like this element. The fact is that I didn’t have many powerful cards to play it to use in battles. Till now, I only touched the element when it was my only choice in some battles. I always wished to get more powerful cards of the life element, so I could use them to win more matches.

It seems like God heard my voice, and @iblast gifted me the KING ERMINAZ TWINCLEAVER card, which belongs to the life element also, and it’s something I actually needed to do some experiments. After getting the KING ERMINAZ TWINCLEAVER card, I became more confident, and I started to use the life element in battle. The ability of the card is quite good. Even if it costs 10 mana, it has two direct attack power, 5 health, and an attack speed of 4, which is very good for me as a beginner, and it has the ability to attack the opponent's unit in the last position. In a word, the card was very good, and I am thankful to Iblast for giving me such a powerful card. I played few battles with life element and today I am going to share first battles where I used KING ERMINAZ TWINCLEAVER and got victory.

The first battle was against the earth element, and the mana cap was 52. I must say the opponent organized all the units quite well. At the first position I placed the TWICE YESTER KNIGHT for its 2 direct attack ability and for having 3 armor which turned into four as I used life element. TWICE YESTER KNIGHT seems to be useless when opponents use magic attack but this time, I am fortunate that the opponent didn’t use any unit with magic ability.

Because of fury rules, I didn’t use taunt here. So, in the second position, I used GREAT BEAR DRUID as it’s also a powerful card with both magic ability and direct attack, and its health is also quite good. I felt it was good for the second position for the battle in case the TWICE YESTER KNIGHT dies fast. In the third position, I used VENGEFUL MONK for its melee attack ability, and it’s one of my favorite cards.

And in the fourth position, I used the KING ERMINAZ TWINCLEAVER which I used for the first time. And in the fifth position, I used SHERRINGHAM LOGGE, which had an ability very close to KING ERMINAZ TWINCLEAVER, but the speed was 2. I was confused about the positions of both cards, and I feel it would be ok to swap their positions.

And in the last position, WILD HORSE TAMER was used. It was chosen just because it had decent health and for having the ability to do ranged attack power. I didn’t have a better card for the last position.

It was indeed a very close battle and for a little time I thought that I was going to lose the battle, but I think my luck was quite good and my strategy worked out and I became the winner of the battle. You can see the battle match here.
